IT HELPS US OUT A TON
Honduran-American artist Empress Of was one of the openers on the Rina Sawayama's, 'Hold The Girl Tour.' Before attending the show, I took a dive through Empress's work and found her recent collaboration with Rina titled, 'Kiss Me.'
This track blew me away with jaw-dropping visuals and great vocal performances from both artists. I particularly like the VFX work and narrative symbolism on the burning tree throughout the video.
Empress Of's performance was high-energy and radiated feminine vibrancy. She alluded throughout the performance to feeling blessed to be on this tour with someone she had looked up to for years. I'm sure this tour was a dream for her and a highlight of her career.
After witnessing her live performance, it's obvious she has an exceptional voice and a lot of talent. I'm excited to see where her talents take her in the near future.
