OUR INDEX

Our music submissions index was made to combat against the deterministic nature of algorithms to create a stream of quality curated new music releases. Our features can exist in the form of an album, EP (extended plays), mixtape, single, music video, and more. 

We do not take the time to write reviews for these projects, rather we feature comments from fans showing their appreciation for the project. The way everyone engages and interprets art is different, and as such we’d rather showcase how art has transformed someone’s life.

OUR AUDIENCE

Our audience consists of three main demographics… 

1) Representatives from top artists managements from the ‘Big Three’ (Universal, Sony, Warner) & boutique independent agencies.

2) Curated music PR agencies from across the globe (concentrations in North America, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand).

3) Diehard underground music fans who are likely the foundation of an artist's long term fanbase. These fans spend a lot of time at underground or critically acclaimed shows. These listeners have a desire to understand the deeper elements of art and creativity.

OUR FEATURES

Rather than try to write out some half baked SEO optimized new track review, we feature thoughtful comments from sites like Rate Your Music, YouTube, and Soundcloud.

[SUBMISSIONS] FROM INDEPENDENT ARTISTS

We have always tried to be understanding and inclusive for artists looking to be featured on our platform. For independent artists we do not charge for placement and allow submissions from Bandcamp, Spotify, and Soundcloud. Do not submit more than one time a month!

As a means for our publication to generate revenue we charge for placements on this list. A payment will only take place if we choose to feature your artist's work. We are extremely selective on the projects we feature and we only showcase our audience the ‘best of the best’. 

We have always gone with a less is more approach and will continue to do as such. Charging for features is one way we are able to bring better streams of consciousness to our audience, and maintain journalistic integrity.

We also take the time to feature our favorite projects from across the music industry. These can be anywhere from an artist's first project to a multi-platinum artist's recent release. Any release we choose to feature evolved our understanding of art in some way.
